Prayers for my Children 

That they would understand Scripture and have salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  2 Timothy 3:15

That they would have a broken, contrite heart. Psalm 51:17

That they would be given wisdom. James 1:15

That they would be swift to hear; slow to speak, slow to wrath. James 1:19

That they would meditate on God’s Word and be prosperous. Joshua 1:8

That they would hate evil and do good; they would seek peace. 1 Peter 3:11

That You would keep them from the evil one. John 17:15 

That they would not be conformed to the world, but that they would be transformed by renewing their mind. That they would understand Your will for them. Romans 12:2

That they would be strong in the Lord. Ephesians 6:10

That they would trust in You with their whole heart and not trust in their own understanding. That they would ackowledge You and You would direct them. Proverbs 3:5-6 
That they would be fruitful in every good work and increase in their knowledge of You. Colossians 1:10

That they would walk in truth and have a close and growing relationship with Jesus. 3 John 1:4 and Colossians 2:6

That they would call upon You and You would protect them. Psalm 91

That You would direct them in a contented life whether it be singleness or marriage. Matthew 19:12, Genesis 2:24, Jeremiah 33:11

That they would call out to You and You would show them great and mighty things. Jeremiah 33:3

That You would direct their steps to bring about the plan You have for them. Jeremiah 29:11

That they would choose their friends carefully and walk with the wise Proverbs 13:20

That they would choose a life of purity before You. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

That they would see Your love and grace demonstrated in my actions and attitudes towards them. John 13:35

That You would create in my child and in me a desire to know Your will and to do it. Phillippians 2:13
